The smooth lines extend from front to back, showing a diving momentum, full of sportiness. The through waistline and the fold line at the bottom of the door enrich the body layering. The flared fenders and square wheel arches highlight the SUV's stability, and the 17 or 18-inch wheel design shows extraordinary taste.

Rounded and full, it cooperates with the roof spoiler to improve aerodynamic performance and visual dynamism. The high-mounted brake light is integrated into the spoiler, and the concave design of the trunk lid adds a sense of layering. Built on the MQB platform, it guarantees rigidity and stability. The combination of front McPherson and rear multi-link independent suspension has been carefully tuned to balance comfort and sportiness. It has good support when cornering and filters out bumps in daily driving. The high ground clearance and reasonable approach and departure angles allow it to handle mild off-road conditions with ease.

The three-spoke leather steering wheel (high-end models) has a solid grip, integrated multimedia control, cruise control, voice interaction and other function buttons, reasonable layout and convenient operation, and supports four-way adjustment up and down, front and back.

The 10.25-inch full LCD dashboard is standard for the entire series (low-end models may have traditional pointers + a small-size LCD screen), which displays rich content, including vehicle speed, navigation, vehicle status and other information, supports multiple theme mode switching, and has a clear and easy-to-read interface, combining a sense of technology with practicality.

VW Tharu high-end models are equipped with a 9.2-inch floating central control screen, integrated with the MOS 3.X smart car connection system, supporting voice control, CarPlay/Android Auto, online navigation, OTA upgrade and other functions, with smooth operation and comprehensive functions; low-end models are equipped with an 8-inch screen, retaining physical buttons for auxiliary operation, taking into account convenience and cost.

All models are equipped with manual/automatic air conditioning as standard (high-end models are equipped with dual-zone automatic air conditioning). The air conditioning control area uses a physical button + knob combination, which is intuitive and easy to operate. It supports temperature zone control and PM2.5 air purification function. Some models are equipped with Clean Air cabin cleaning system to ensure the air quality in the car.

1.5L model: Equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, it has excellent smoothness and is suitable for urban commuting. It supports manual mode to enhance driving participation. ​

1.5T/2.0T model: Equipped with a 7-speed dry dual-clutch (1.5T) or a 7-speed wet dual-clutch (2.0T), the shifting speed is extremely fast and the logic is clear. In the economic mode, it focuses on fuel efficiency, and the sports mode responds more aggressively, taking into account both driving efficiency and fun.

VW Tharu low-end models use fabric seats, the driver's seat supports 8-way manual adjustment (front and rear, height, backrest angle), and the passenger seat supports 6-way manual adjustment; high-end models are upgraded to imitation leather/genuine leather, the driver's seat is equipped with 8-way electric adjustment (including lumbar support), and some models support seat heating.

All models are equipped with an openable panoramic sunroof (except the lowest configuration), with a light transmission area of ​​1.17-1.18㎡, covering the head area of ​​the front and rear rows, with significant lighting and ventilation effects; it supports electric opening/closing and anti-pinch functions to improve convenience and safety.

Air outlet and control: All models are equipped with independent rear air conditioning outlets, which support air volume adjustment (knob operation), but temperature adjustment needs to be controlled through the front central control; some high-end models are equipped with PM2.5 air purification system (Clean Air), which can filter pollutants in the car and ensure air quality.

Space and flexibility: The seats adopt a 4/6 ratio folding design, which is easy to operate through the shoulder button. The seat padding is softer than the front seats, and the leg support is sufficient; high-end models are equipped with a rear center armrest (with cup holder) to improve the convenience of long-distance travel; some models provide ISOFIX child safety seat interfaces to meet family travel needs.

Under normal conditions, the volume is 455L, the depth is about 860mm, and the width is 1000mm, which can easily accommodate daily shopping or short-distance travel luggage; after the rear seats are folded down, the maximum volume is expanded to 1443-1543L. The tailgate opening is large and the floor is flat, making it very convenient to carry large items.

The bottom of the trunk is designed with hidden storage compartments for classified storage of small items; some high-end models support electric tailgate (with sensor opening), which further improves the convenience of use.
