Front Face Design
The VW ID.6 X has a sturdy exterior design, with a full, three-dimensional front face, equipped with through-type daytime running lights, and a large-sized "starry sky" grille below with an active closing function.
The front and rear lights are both through-type designs, with standard matrix headlights that use LED light sources and support adaptive high and low beams. They also have turn headlights and rain and fog mode for the headlights.
Body Design
ID.6 X is positioned as a medium-to-large SUV with a body size of 4876/1848/1680mm. It has soft side lines and a full shape. It is equipped with semi-hidden door handles. The rear of the car has a strong sense of hierarchy and a through-type black trim.
Smart Cockpit
The top of the ID.6 X center console is wrapped in soft material, and the bottom is equipped with a silver through-type trim. In the middle is a 12-inch screen, which is tilted toward the driver's side. The lower operating console is a split design.
Leather Steering Wheel
The ID.6 X series is equipped with a leather steering wheel as standard, with a three-spoke design and steering wheel heating as standard. The buttons on both sides are made of high-gloss black material. The left side controls the assisted driving, and the right side controls the car computer and voice wake-up, etc.
Dashboard
In front of the driver is a 5.3-inch full-wave crystal dashboard with a simple interface design. The left side displays speed, battery life, etc., and the right side can switch to display vehicle information, navigation, etc., with gear information on the edge.
Central Control Screen
In the middle of the central control panel is a 12-inch screen, which runs the MOS smart car connection system, supports 4G network and OTA upgrade, has CarPlay and Carlife, integrates vehicle settings, and has a built-in app store for downloading APPs.
Center Console Buttons
There are two rows of control buttons below the ID.6X center console screen. The upper row controls the air conditioning temperature, volume, etc., and the lower row controls the driving mode, assisted driving, etc.
Wireless Charging
The front row of the ID.6X top-end and second-top-end models is equipped with a wireless charging plate, located in front of the central control console. When using it, you need to open the upper cover.
Front Seats
ID.6 X top-end and second-top-end models are equipped with leather seats, the front seats are heated, massaged and support seat memory, while other models are equipped with imitation leather seats, and the front seats only have heated seats.
Rear Control Screen
The ID.6X is equipped with a control screen behind the front center armrest, which can adjust the air conditioning temperature with a digital display, and can also control the rear seat heating, which has three adjustable levels.
Rear Space
The top-end model of ID.6 X is a 6-seater, while the others are all 7-seater models. It adopts a 2-3-2 seat layout and supports front and rear and backrest angle adjustment. The top and second-top models have rear seat heating. The second-top model can be equipped with a 6-seater layout for 0 yuan, and the middle of the rear floor is flat.
Third Row Seats
The third row seats of ID.6 X can be folded down in a 5/5 ratio, with cup holders and storage compartments on both sides. The 7-seat version can be entered from the side by moving the second row seats forward, and the 6-seat version can enter the third row from the middle aisle of the second row.
Trunk
Its trunk is very neat, and there is plenty of space when the third row of seats is in use. The trunk is equipped with a 12V power socket, and the storage curtain can also be placed under the cover.
Vehicle Performance
ID.6 X has single-motor and dual-motor versions. The long-range version adopts rear-mounted rear-wheel drive, equipped with a 150kW electric motor, a battery energy of 83.4kWh, and a CLTC pure electric range of 617km.
Assisted Driving
ID.6 X is equipped with L2 assisted driving and IQ.Drive assisted driving system. The whole series is equipped with full-speed adaptive cruise control and lane centering function as standard. The low-end models are equipped with reversing images, and other models are equipped with 360° panoramic images.
Two Types Of Batteries
The ID.6 X has 63.2kWh and 83.4kWh batteries, both of which are ternary lithium batteries, use liquid cooling, support battery preheating, CLTC pure electric range is 460km and 617km respectively (555km for the four-wheel drive version), and the battery pack warranty is 8 years or 160,000 kilometers.
Both support fast charging function, the charging port is located at the right rear of the vehicle, 0-80% fast charging takes 40 minutes, 63.2kWh battery slow charging takes 9.5h, and 83.4kWh battery takes 12.5h.
