Appearance Design
ID.4 X is positioned as a compact SUV. Its appearance adopts the design language of the Volkswagen ID series. The closed grille makes the front shape fuller. The headlights and daytime running lights are integrated, with smooth lines and a strong sense of technology.
Body Design
ID.4 X is positioned as a compact SUV with a body size of 4612/1852/1640mm. The side of the body is beautiful and smooth, which helps to reduce wind resistance and energy consumption. The waistline extends from the headlights to the taillights, and the simple skirt line design makes the overall body more coordinated.
Smart Cockpit
The ID.4 X center console adopts a large-size touch screen design, integrating multiple functions such as navigation, audio, and vehicle information. The interior design continues the simple and elegant style, with spacious space and smooth lines to better enhance the driving experience.
Multi-function Steering Wheel
ID.4X is equipped with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel wrapped in leather, with cruise control buttons on the left and media control buttons on the right.
Gear Shift Handle
The entire ID.4X series adopts a dashboard-integrated shift-type gear handle, which integrates the gear handle and gear display to facilitate driver control and shift gears by twisting forward/backward.
Instrument Screen
The VW ID.4X is equipped with a 5.3-inch LCD instrument in front of the driver, which displays information such as speed, remaining power, cruising range, gear position, etc.
Central Control Screen
The ID.4X central console is equipped with a 12-inch touch LCD screen, which runs the MOS smart car connection system, integrates vehicle control and entertainment functions, and supports car networking and OTA.
Wireless Charging
The ID.4X Extreme Long-range Edition and Powerful Four-wheel Drive Edition are equipped with a front-row mobile phone wireless charging function, which is located in the storage box below the central control screen.
Front Seats
The ID.4 X series is equipped with leather seats. The driver and front passenger seats support electric adjustment. The Extreme Intelligent Long Range Edition and Powerful Four-wheel Drive Edition are equipped with driver and front passenger seat ventilation, heating and memory functions. Other models are only equipped with heating function.
Panoramic Sunroof
The ID.4X comes standard with a non-openable panoramic sunroof. Except for the lowest-equipped model, other models can be equipped with an openable panoramic sunroof at a price.
Rear Charging Port
The ID.4X rear row is equipped with two Type-C charging ports, located in front of the middle seat. Above is a storage compartment for charging electronic products, and at the top is the air conditioning outlet, which is standard for all models.
Rear Space
The rear floor of ID.4X is completely flat, the middle seat cushion is the same length as the two sides, the rear backrest supports 4/6 ratio folding, and the Extreme Intelligent Long-range Edition and Powerful Four-wheel Drive Edition are equipped with a rear center armrest.
Trunk
The trunk of ID.4 X is very neat and the internal size is not small. Due to the existence of a partition, when the rear seats are folded down in daily conditions, a flat surface is formed between the seat backs and the trunk floor, which is convenient for use. In some cases, the partition at the bottom of the trunk can also be lowered to increase the longitudinal space by about 100mm.
Vehicle Performance
ID.4 X adopts pure electric drive. The four-wheel drive model adopts a dual-motor layout and is equipped with an 80.2kWh ternary lithium battery. The long-range and smart models adopt a rear single-motor layout. The long-range model has a CLTC pure electric range of 601km.
Assisted Driving
The ID.4 X is equipped with L2 assisted driving, running the IQ.Drive assisted driving system, supporting lane centering, and the Extreme Long-range Edition and Powerful Four-wheel Drive Edition support automatic parking. 12 ultrasonic radars, 3 millimeter-wave radars.
