VW T-Cross

VW T-Cross adopts a geometric honeycomb grille with sharp geometric LED headlights. The interior of the lamp cavity is angular, and the upturned eyebrows create a sharp look. LED headlights are standard for the entire series, and high-end models support automatic headlights and turn assist lights, which are highly recognizable at night.

The lower surround adopts a through-type chrome trim and black guard plate to enhance the sense of layering and sportiness.

The body size is 4218×1760×1599mm, the wheelbase is 2651mm, and it adopts a sword-shaped double waistline design. The upper waistline runs through the door handle to the taillight, and the lower waistline is concave to enhance the three-dimensional sense, creating a tough and dynamic visual effect. The side skirts and wheel eyebrows are made of black anti-scratch plastic trim, which takes into account practicality and crossover style.

16-17-inch aluminum alloy wheels are available. The high-end models use cool black cut wheels with sharp edges and corners, matched with 205/55 R17 tires, and the posture is stable and majestic.

The roof is equipped with a large spoiler, and the edge is painted in bright black, forming a visual connection with the rear window glass.

The through-type taillight design connects the light groups on both sides through black decorative strips. The interior of the lamp cavity uses an "L"-shaped LED light strip, which is highly recognizable when lit at night.

The rear surround uses a combination of black plastic trim + silver guard plate. The bottom silver guard plate simulates the diffuser shape to enhance the sporty atmosphere.

The front suspension of T-Cross is a McPherson independent suspension, the subframe adopts a spindle beam structure, and the rear suspension is a torsion beam non-independent suspension. The adjustment is biased towards comfort, taking into account daily commuting and lightly complex road conditions.

The chassis is highly flat, the engine underguard and the guards on both sides of the chassis are complete, the oil pipeline is hidden in the guard, and the exhaust pipe is fully insulated, effectively reducing wind noise and road impact.

The minimum ground clearance is 150mm, and the passability is better than ordinary cars, but slightly inferior to some urban SUVs.

The VW T-Cross 300TSI DSG luxury version comes standard with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, which has a full grip and an ergonomic button layout. The left side integrates volume adjustment, voice assistant, and multimedia switching functions, and the right side supports cruise control/adaptive cruise (high configuration) control, with crisp button feedback.

The 10.3-inch FPK full LCD instrument is exclusive to the 300TSI luxury version, with a resolution of 1280×480 and supports three theme modes (classic, sports, and navigation). It can display navigation maps or vehicle information in full screen, and the interface switching is smooth.

The 1.5L model is equipped with a traditional mechanical pointer instrument as standard, and a 3.5-inch monochrome driving computer screen in the center, which displays basic information such as fuel consumption and battery life. The clarity and functionality are slightly inferior to the full LCD version.

The high-end 9.2-inch touch screen supports multi-touch and gesture sliding, and the physical shortcut keys (home, volume, return) are retained on the left. Functions include CarPlay/Android Auto wireless interconnection, online navigation, voice control (wake-up word "Hello Volkswagen") and Beats audio system (6 speakers).

The 1.5L Comfort Edition and below models are equipped with an 8-inch touch screen, equipped with a CNS 2.0 system, supporting wired mobile phone mapping, and a simple interface logic.

The screen adopts a floating layout, with an inclination of 5° toward the driver's side to reduce reflection interference and good display clarity under strong light.

The air conditioning control area is located below the central control screen, retaining the physical knob + button combination, and supports blind operation. The left knob adjusts the temperature, the right knob controls the air volume, and the middle button can quickly switch between internal circulation, front/rear windshield defogger, dual-zone synchronization and other functions.

1.5L+6AT combination:

The manual mode is activated by the button on the right side of the gear lever, and the shifting logic is clear, which is suitable for mountain roads or scenes that require power control.

1.5T+7DSG combination:

The gearbox provides three driving modes: economy/standard/sports. In sports mode, the shift speed is increased to 3000rpm, and the steering wheel shift paddles are used to enhance driving pleasure. There are occasional setbacks in low-speed congested sections, but this has been greatly optimized through software upgrades.

The low-end model (Fashion Edition) has fabric seats, while the mid-to-high-end models (Comfort Edition and Luxury Edition) are upgraded to imitation leather. The top-end luxury version has enhanced seat wing support, which is suitable for long-distance driving.

The driver and passenger seats of the entire series are manually adjusted (height, front and back, backrest), and the top-end luxury version also provides front seat heating function, which significantly improves practicality in winter.

Head and leg space: Taking a 175cm tall user as an example, the head space is about one fist, and the leg space is one fist and four fingers. The flat floor design greatly improves the comfort of the middle passenger, which is better than most competing products of the same level.

The rear width is 1430mm. When fully loaded with three people, the comfort of passengers on both sides is good, but the middle position is suitable for short-distance emergency use because the backrest is hard and there is no independent headrest.

The mid-to-high-end models are equipped with rear air outlets, and dual USB charging ports (including Type-C) are integrated at the bottom to support simultaneous charging of multiple devices.

All mid-to-high-end models (Comfort Edition and above) are equipped with an openable panoramic sunroof, the front half of which supports electric sliding/lifting, with a light-transmitting area of 0.57㎡ and an opening length of 380mm, which effectively improves the lighting and ventilation efficiency in the car.

The low-end fashion version is not equipped with a sunroof, and the mid-to-high-end models use panoramic sunroofs to enhance the sense of spaciousness, becoming one of the differentiated competitive advantages in the same class.

The seat material is configured in stages with the front seats (low-end fabric, mid-to-high-end imitation leather), with delicate stitching and soft seat padding, suitable for family users.

The entire series is equipped with 2 sets of ISOFIX+Top Tether interfaces, located on both sides of the rear seats, to support the quick installation of child safety seats.

The rear seats are equipped with three height-adjustable headrests and three-point seat belts as standard, and the middle seat is equipped with a two-point seat belt, which meets the national safety standards.

The regular volume is 329L, which can easily accommodate 2 22-inch suitcases + 1 cabin bag; after the rear seats are folded down, it can be expanded to 1319L, with a depth of 1600mm, which can meet the needs of moving or camping equipment loading.

The trunk opening width is 1020mm and the ground height is 720mm. It is more convenient than some competitors when carrying heavy objects, but it is slightly challenging for shorter users.
