The new VW Golf sedan is mainly available in GTI, R-Line series and regular versions. The overall power system of Golf 8 has not changed compared with Golf 7. The S gear of the transmission has been adjusted to make daily performance more intelligent.
In urban driving conditions, the golf's suspension performance is almost impeccable. The front hard and rear soft setting allows the driver to get a certain road feel. It has good filtering ability for broken vibrations and almost no impact when there are big bumps.

Functional Steering Wheel

The full LCD instrument panel is 10.25 inches in size and supports 4 different display modes. The left and right dials can be customized with functions.
Central Control Screen

Gear Shift Knob
The transmission is a 7-speed dry dual-clutch (DCT). Due to the use of an electronic shift lever, it cannot be arranged in manual mode. The R-Line model can achieve manual shifting through paddle shifters, but the low-end models do not have paddle shifters. So it became a purely automatic transmission.
Rear Air Outlet
The temperature direction of the rear exhaust vents is adjustable, and the Golf also provides two USB charging ports in the rear row.
Exquisite Pedal
The footrests of the Golf R-Line model have exquisite aluminum alloy decoration. Although this location is not conspicuous, no one dislikes this detail.
Front Seats

Rear Seats

Skylight
There is no panoramic sunroof in the entire series, and the opening area is not too large. As a "digital" Golf sedan, even the sunroof opening button is touch-sensitive, which is quite convenient to use.
The Trunk
The trunk volume of the VW Golf sedan is 380L, which is not large, but the rear seats can be folded down in a 4/6 ratio, and the opening of the center seat makes it easy for rear passengers to access trunk items while driving.
The front surround treatment of the R-line version is obviously different from that of the regular version. The R-line version has a pure bright black grille with a fang-like outer contour; while the regular version has two "moustaches" in the same color as the body. , with the chrome-plated decoration throughout, it looks softer.
Golf 8 continues the classic side proportions, with slightly modified line positions and wider C-pillars, but the "boomerang" shape is still a genetic trait of its family.
The overall shape of the rear of the VW Golf sedan is not much different from the previous generation model. The fake four-outlet exhaust style is very bluffing, but it is actually a hidden single-sided dual-outlet exhaust layout. The word "GOLF" located below the logo is very cute.
