Volkswagen's consistent advantage, stability, is perfectly reflected in the new Bora. The chassis is solid enough, and it doesn't feel loose when driving on dirt roads in the countryside. It makes people feel at ease when driving. As an A-class family car priced at around RMB 100,000, the Bora actually performs relatively well in all aspects, and its sales and reputation in this class are also good.
The exterior design of the new Bora is more fashionable and caters to the aesthetics of young people. In addition to the good-looking waistline design that highlights the sense of sportiness, the shape of the wheels is similar to a rotating windmill, which is highly personalized, and the headlights have all been upgraded to LED light sources.
In terms of interior, the middle part of the center console of the new Bora is wrapped and decorated with soft leather fabrics. Compared with the hard trim panels of the old model, the passenger compartment looks more homely and fashionable.
Three-Spoke Steering Wheel
The new Bora adopts a new center console shape and a new family-style three-spoke steering wheel style. The same steering wheel can be seen on the new Lavida and new Sagitar.
Instrument Screen
The BORA 10.3-inch full LCD instrument panel has a clear display effect and also supports the function of full-screen display of navigation maps. It has both a sense of technology and practicality. Judging from the information we have received so far, both top- and sub-top models will be equipped with this instrument panel.
Central Control Screen
The biggest change in the new Bora center console is that it is equipped with a 12-inch floating touch screen with relatively good resolution and response speed. The multimedia system supports Apple wireless CarPlay and Baidu CarLife mobile phone interconnection functions, which enhances the functionality and practicality of the multimedia system.
Front Power Supply
The storage compartment at the bottom of the center console has two USB and TypeC charging interfaces, and also supports wireless charging function, which can be regarded as advancing with the times.
Rear Exit
There is an air-conditioning outlet in the rear row, and there are two conventional USB charging ports at the bottom of the air outlet to facilitate charging for rear passengers.
Front Seats
The front seats are designed with new color fabrics, giving people a more youthful and lively feel. The diamond pattern on the shoulder position of the seat back makes the seat look more advanced.
Rear Floor
There is an obvious bulge in the center of the rear floor, which has a certain impact on the long-distance riding comfort of the center rear passenger.

The Trunk

The front part of the new Bora has changed significantly compared to the old model. More horizontal chrome decorative strips are applied to the front grille to increase the visual width, and also make the front face of the new model more fashionable.
The side profile of the new model is basically the same as that of the old model, which is reasonable for a mid-term facelift model.
The overall shape of the rear of the new Bora is basically the same as that of the old model. The main change is that the lower surround decoration has been redesigned, and the internal structure of the taillights has been adjusted to some extent.
As a mid-term facelift model, the new Bora has been adjusted in appearance details and the center console has been redesigned, giving the overall appearance a more youthful and sporty feel. The new 12-inch floating touch screen of the multimedia system is larger in size, making the cockpit look more technological and improving the user experience.
