BYD Seagull

The Seagull is equipped with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel. Except for the low-end models, all are wrapped in leather. The left button adjusts the cruise control, and the right button controls the media. It feels comfortable and is easy to operate.

In front of the driver is a 7-inch LCD instrument panel, which can display information such as battery life and speed on the left and right sides, and average power consumption, total mileage and other vehicle information in the middle.

In the middle of BYD Seagull's central console is a 10.1-inch rotatable screen, which runs the DiLink system, integrates vehicle control and entertainment functions, supports 4G network, and has a built-in app store that can download various software.

Below the central control screen is a row of physical control buttons, officially called the "easy-going control center", which is made of chrome and integrates functions such as the gear lever, air conditioning, and driving mode. The Seagull uses an electronic gear lever to shift gears. The gear lever is located on the far left of the control buttons below the screen, and the gears are shifted by turning. The design is novel and easy to operate.

Except for the lowest-equipped model, the front row of the Seagull is equipped with a wireless charging pad located in front of the central control console. There is also a USB and a Type-C charging port below.

Although it is an entry-level model, the Seagull's central control is still covered with a soft surface in the areas that users often touch, and the texture is very good.

All Seagull models are equipped with imitation leather seats as standard, with the front seats adopting a sporty design, two-color stitching, and BYD logo on the headrest. Only the top-of-the-line model is equipped with an electric adjustment function for the driver's seat.The 2025 model has removed the "BYD" logo.

All Seagull models are equipped with driver/passenger airbags and front/rear head airbags as standard, and the top-of-the-line models are also equipped with front side airbags.

Due to limited horizontal space, the rear seats of the Seagull are designed for two people, and the width of the seat cushions and the backrests are optimized for human body shape.

Although the body is small, it is no problem to place a 28-inch suitcase in the trunk, and some small items can be placed in it at ordinary times. The rear seats of the Seagull can be folded down as a whole, and the expanded volume can reach 930L.
