Brand-new Haval H9
The new generation Haval H9 offers four body colors inspired by natural minerals, namely Stone Blue Gray, Spring Mountain Green, Tile Black and Smoky White. It does not appear to be overall calm and low-key, and at the same time it is very bright in contrast to most paint schemes. To echo the off-road scene, I wonder if there will be personalized car colors similar to the "Frontier Limited Edition" in the future.
Power Configuration
In terms of power, the new Haval H9 is expected to be equipped with a 2.0T+8AT power system, and a new 2.4T+9AT diesel power combination. The maximum horsepower of the gasoline version is 224Ps, and the maximum horsepower of the diesel version is 186PS.
Family-style Interior
When you walk into the car, you can also feel the obvious family-style design. We are not unfamiliar with similar layouts, which have appeared on Haval Raptors before. Compared with the old Haval H9, a large number of straight lines have replaced the original curves. The wood grain trim in front of the co-pilot seat has been replaced with a more practical handle.
Functional Steering Wheel
The steering wheel feels thin when held, which is somewhat different from the hard-core design language of the cockpit. However, the multi-function areas integrated on both sides are physical buttons, which is quite appropriate.
Instrument panel
The instrument panel has been changed from the old polygonal one to a rectangular full LCD instrument panel. More information can be displayed in a customized way, and the rectangle is more in line with the design language of the new interior.
Central Control Screen
The central control screen has been upgraded from 12.3 inches to 14.6 inches, with a maximum brightness of 1000+nit. However, compared with the hardware upgrade, it is more noteworthy that the screen is tilted more vertically, and the problem of reflection during driving can be alleviated from a physical level.
Dashboard Trim
The front trim is made of hard plastic, but a layer of nano-scale low-crystallization PP material is added to the easily accessible position. In addition to improving the touch texture, it also takes into account the use scenario of easy maintenance after off-roading.
Function Area
The physical buttons of the function area are evenly distributed on both sides of the gear lever, including front and rear differential locks, low-speed four-wheel drive, seat heating/ventilation, etc. The larger button area is more intuitive to operate and can avoid accidental touches.
Door Panel Interior
The upper part of the door panel is made of hard plastic, and the stitching here is only for decoration. The middle part is wrapped in leather, and the inside is filled with soft sponge.
Front Seats
The seats have a 10mm thick comfort sponge, and are equipped with a blower seat cushion and suction backrest for seat ventilation, as well as a seat heating function covering 34-42°C.
Rear Air Outlet
The rear row is equipped with independent air conditioning, and the left and right sides are equipped with seat ventilation/heating functions. In addition, there are two Type-C power ports and a 12V power supply at the bottom.
Rear Seats
The rear seats are filled with moderate hardness and softness, which can balance comfort and support. They are equipped with a central armrest and two cup holders are reserved at the top. The rear seats can also be folded down in a 4:6 ratio.
Trunk
The trunk depth is 940mm when the rear seats are not folded down, and can reach 1660mm when they are folded down. In addition, since the rear seats are folded down as a whole, the backrest and the trunk cover can be almost flat.
Front Design
The front face of the new Haval H9 has changed significantly. The four thick parallel array grilles emphasize the hardcore off-road attributes. The use of straight lines makes the vehicle look wider. In addition, there are 8 positions for personalized modification, including a detachable center grille, front and rear bumpers, and a front winch.
Body Side
The length, width and height of the vehicle are 5070*1976*1930mm, which are both larger than the previous generation model. The wheelbase has reached 2850mm, which is 50mm longer than the previous generation model. At the same time, the vehicle's approach angle has been increased from 28° to 31°, and the departure angle has also been increased from 23° to 25°, significantly improving off-road passability.
Rear Design
The biggest change in the rear is the new style taillights. The family design language is highly recognizable, and the original side doors and other structures have been retained. The models photographed this time are all exposed external spare tires, and Haval H9 also provides a version with a back-mounted "small schoolbag".
