Product Introduction
Menlo is Chevrolet's first pure electric model launched in China. The design of the new car draws on the design elements of the Chevrolet FNR-X concept car, and the visual effect is young and sporty.
Power Configuration
The Chevrolet Menlo is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 130kW and a maximum torque of 265N.m; the ternary lithium battery has a capacity of 61.1kWh, and the battery is equipped with an intelligent water circulation temperature management system, with a NEDC range of 518km.
Interior Configuration
Menlo provides two interior colors, hydrogen blue and carbon black, depending on the model, but the materials used are different. The Xingxiang version is leather, the Galaxy version is leather/fabric, and the Nebula/Xingyu version is perforated leather.
Multi-function Steering Wheel
The multi-function area on the left side of the steering wheel integrates voice control and cruise control, while the right side integrates the on-board computer display control and audio adjustment functions.
Instrument Screen
In addition to conventional information such as battery life, vehicle speed, and battery power, the Menlo 8-inch LCD digital instrument also integrates driving mode, kinetic energy recovery gear, distance reminder for the vehicle in front, tire pressure monitoring, power system operating conditions, and other functions.
Central Control Screen
The 10.1-inch central control LCD screen supports touch operation, with excellent clarity and response speed. The button layout and integrated functions of the central control area are basically the same as those of Buick Velite.
Center Console Material
Except for the light-colored areas of the Menlo center console, which are wrapped in soft materials, all other black areas are hard plastic; some areas on the inside of the door panels are also wrapped in soft materials.
Gear Shift Lever
The layout below the Menlo center console is slightly different from that of the Velite. The driving mode switch knob on the Velite is replaced by a button. Automatic parking, kinetic energy recovery force adjustment, electronic handbrake and other functions are arranged on both sides of the gear lever.
Front Seats
The Menlo seats have excellent support and wrapping. If the seat cushion length could be extended a little, it would be more comfortable.
Panoramic Sunroof
The panoramic glass roof cannot be opened for ventilation, but the visual effect is still very classy. Length: 1150mm, width: 730mm.
Rear Air Vents
The rear row is equipped with standard air vents, and there are two USB power supplies underneath. The rear floor is flat enough, but there is not enough vertical space for the middle seat's feet, so they can only be placed on both sides, invading the space of other passengers.
Rear Seats
The rear seats only provide double headrests, with no middle headrest. The seat cushions are high and the texture is hard, so the comfort level is average.
Trunk Space
Under normal conditions, the trunk volume is already quite impressive, and it is no problem to accommodate a 28-inch, 24-inch and 20-inch suitcase each.

Front Face Design
CHEVROLET Menlo has restored the design essence of the FNR-X concept car to the greatest extent. The crossover shape is matched with sharp lines, which is sharp and wild. The narrow black panel + narrow chrome trim runs through the front face and is connected to the LED light group with the same sharp style. The sharp feeling comes from this.
Body Side
The black skirt at the bottom of the car side has the visual effect of narrowing the body. The addition of the luggage rack also makes the Chevrolet Menlo have a stronger crossover flavor than the Buick Velite.
Rear Design
The rear design of the car is relatively complex, with the black and white body being spliced and integrated into complex lines and patterns at the C-pillar, which has a unique charm. The layers are clear, and the rear windshield is decorated with black panels around it, which echoes the black rear surround.
User Comments
As Chevrolet's first pure electric vehicle in China, Menlo's overall shape is more crossover style, and the black surround is a good proof of this. The interior design is still similar to Buick Velite. In addition, its advantages include multiple power ports in the front and rear rows, the size of the front cup holder that can be controlled on demand, and ample passenger space. However, the design of the storage slot in front of the gear lever needs to be improved, and some mobile phones are indeed difficult to take out.
