Exterior Design
The exterior of the BMW iX1 is basically the same as that of the BMW X1. The overall design is three-dimensional, with tough lines and a closed grille. The M sports package is applied to a compact pure electric SUV for the first time, and there is also an optional X design package.
Body Design
The BMW iX1 is positioned as a compact SUV with a body size of 4616/1845/1641mm. The domestic model is an extended version with a wheelbase of 2802mm. The waistline of the car extends from the front wheel eyebrow to the taillights, equipped with semi-hidden door handles, and the black surround at the bottom of the rear enhances the sporty feel.
Headlight Design
The BMW iX1's front and rear lights continue the family-style "L" shape design, with light language when unlocking. LED high and low beams and daytime running lights are standard, supporting adaptive high and low beams and automatic headlights.
Smart Cockpit
The BMW iX1 center console adopts a new design, with a silver trim running through the middle, the top is wrapped in leather, and the instrument panel and center console screen form a dual screen.
M Sports Steering Wheel
The three-spoke steering wheel equipped with the BMW X1M sports package has a hollow design at the bottom, wrapped in leather, and has an M logo. The left button controls the cruise control, and the right button controls the car computer, multimedia, etc.
Instrument Screen
In front of the driver is a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, which displays the speed on the left, the vehicle status, media information, etc. in the middle, the gear information on the right, and the range in the lower right corner.
Central Control Screen
The BMW iX1 is equipped with a 10.7-inch central control screen, running the 9th generation (BMW) operating system, supporting 4G network, and optional 5G network for an additional 2,500 yuan; built-in vehicle settings, navigation and entertainment functions, and the Chinese version is also equipped with in-car WeChat.
Floating Console
The BMW iX1 central console adopts a floating design, with a mix of chrome and black plastic, and a paddle-type gear lever on the left. The volume, driving mode and other control buttons are on the right.
Comfortable Configuration
BMW iX1 comes standard with HUD head-up digital display, which can display speed, speed limit information and auxiliary driving signs, etc. It comes standard with multi-color ambient lights, and the light strips are distributed in the center console, door panels, footrests and other positions.
Comfortable Space
The BMW iX1 M Sport Package model is equipped with integrated sports-style seats in the front row. The red/black seats are made of genuine leather, and Alcantara and leather stitching can be selected free of charge. The overall wrapping feeling is good, and the seat heating function can be selected at an additional cost.
Rear Air Vents
The BMW iX1 is equipped with air conditioning vents in the rear, located behind the front center armrest, with two Type-C charging ports below.
Panoramic Sunroof
The BMW iX1 comes standard with a non-openable panoramic sunroof, which is large in size, has a wide field of vision, and is equipped with an electric sunshade.
Rear Space
After being lengthened, the domestic version of the BMW iX1 has a more spacious rear space, the backrest angle can be adjusted, the middle of the platform is slightly raised, the seat cushion is slightly shorter than the sides, and the rear seats support 4/2/4 ratio folding.
The Trunk
The trunk capacity of the BMW iX1 can reach 450 liters, and the space can be flexibly adjusted as needed by folding the rear seats. In addition, there are multiple storage compartments at the rear of the vehicle to provide more storage space. The trunk of the BMW iX1 is also equipped with an electric switch that can be opened and closed remotely by clicking on the remote control or the in-car control panel.
Vehicle Performance
The BMW iX1 is equipped with dual-motor four-wheel drive and adopts the fifth-generation BMW eDrive electric drive technology. The total power of the electric motor is 230kW, the official 0-100km/h acceleration is 5.7s, equipped with a 66.45kWh battery, and the CLTC pure electric range is 450km.
Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive
The BMW iX1 uses dual-motor all-wheel drive, with a total torque of 494N·m and a total power of 230kW. The official 0-100km/h acceleration is 5.7s, the maximum speed is 180km/h, and the power consumption per 100km is 16.3kWh.
Driving Mode
The BMW iX1 has three driving modes: Personality, Sport, and Energy Saving. They can be adjusted on the central control screen, and different modes correspond to different themes. It is equipped with cruise control as standard, supports automatic parking and tracking reverse, is equipped with lane change assistance and road traffic sign functions, and can be equipped with 360-degree panoramic images at an additional cost.
