LEAPMOTOR C11 Actual Driving Experience Test
Recently, we had the opportunity to test drive the LEAPMOTOR C11 and we were blown away by the experience. The C11 is equipped with a 200kW maximum power driving motor that delivers incredible performance on the road.
From the moment we got behind the wheel, we were impressed by the smooth acceleration and instant power that this car delivers. The electric motor provides a quiet, seamless driving experience that makes it easy to forget that you are driving an electric vehicle.

The drive motor of the Leapmotor C11 Premium Edition has a maximum power of 200kW, which is comparable to the single-motor version of the same level. The official 0-100km/h acceleration time of 7.9s is also at the mainstream level.
LEAPMOTOR C11 uses a combination of front double wishbone independent suspension/rear five-link independent suspension. In terms of suspension structure, it is relatively advanced and rare in the same class and price range.

But when driving, even when accelerating in sports mode using the "floor power" method, the vehicle's acceleration response is not intense, but rather reveals a calm and steady character.
Of course, this "gentleness" is relative to the generally "irritable" character of electric vehicles. The 200kW power reserve makes it very confident in accelerating on urban roads. However, on the highway, this 2-ton big guy hardly gives you a sense of pushing back.

In the previous test drive of the pre-production prototype, we found that the deceleration of the kinetic energy recovery of the Leapmotor C11 was relatively weak, and this design was still used in the final mass-produced model.
There is a certain amount of play in the steering adjustment, and the information transmitted from the road is filtered more thoroughly, but the steering wheel has a strong desire to return to the center, which is more suitable for helping you complete your daily commuting work comfortably.

The overall chassis tuning is comfort-oriented. When encountering small bumps, the soft suspension can well resolve these ups and downs. When passing through continuous speed bumps, the body sways left and right relatively restrained, but the wheel bounces a little messy, and the overall feeling is average.
During the test drive, we also found that the soft suspension will cause the vehicle to pitch forward and backward when braking hard. Even in daily city driving, if you want to drive comfortably, you need to control the braking force very carefully.

Finally, in terms of sound insulation, in order to ensure that the frameless doors also have good sound insulation effects, Leapmotor provides the C11 with double-layer laminated glass for the front row. Even after the vehicle speed reaches 100km/h, the interior of the car is still relatively quiet.
