NIO ES7

 

ES7 uses the second-generation electric drive system, with a 180kW silicon carbide permanent magnet motor in the front and a 300kW induction motor in the rear. The total system power is 480kW and the total peak torque reaches 850N·m. The ES7's 0-100km/h acceleration performance is 3.9 seconds, and the maximum speed is 200km/h, making it the fastest SUV of NIO.

 

 

 

The NIO ES7 is equipped with a self-developed intelligent chassis domain controller ICC, which centralizes the perception and decision-making process of each chassis electronic and electrical component into the domain controller, and has the function of uniformly adjusting and controlling air springs, shock absorbers, electronic parking, motors and other systems, and cooperates with the self-developed suspension control system to create more outstanding control and comfort performance. Of course, for NIO, self-development also has a very important meaning, that is, it can respond to user needs more promptly.

 

 

 

The interior style of the NIO ES7 is similar to that of the ET7, with a simple and homely feel. It should be noted that it is not a copy of the ET7, but a layered design of the cockpit according to the differences in vehicle types.

 

 

 

 

The front of the car still uses the X-Bar element, and it still looks like NIO at first glance. The split headlights are very similar to those of the ET7, but the large grille on the NIO ES8 is removed and a closed front face is adopted instead. Which design do you prefer?

Like the ET7, the ES7 is also equipped with a laser radar and two cameras on the roof, which can realize advanced assisted driving functions, but this watchtower-style shape inevitably affects the overall appearance.

 

 

 

The body side is simple and bright, and the shape and proportions look comfortable and coordinated. Although both are five-seater models, the size of the NIO ES7 is smaller than the domestic BMW X5.

 

 

 

The rear design is relatively rounded, and the taillights adopt a through-type design. The overall visual center of gravity is relatively high. The through-type taillights are relatively slender, and more than 200 LED light sources are integrated. Unlike other brands, the taillights of ES7 have a sense of energy radiating.

 

 

 

Finally, we have to mention the autonomous driving hardware configuration of NIO ES7. It is equipped with NIO Aquila super-sensing system and NIO Adam super-computing platform as standard, with an ultra-long-range high-precision 1550nm laser radar, 7 800 high-definition cameras and 4 Orin X chips, with a total computing power of 1016Tops.
