Front Face Design
The KX1 has a lot of design elements on the front, but when integrated together, it doesn't look messy and is comfortable to look at. The "tiger roar" grille on the top is a sealed plastic panel, which looks very much like a new energy vehicle.
The Body Side
The upper and lower two-tone body is very eye-catching, and the silver decoration of the roof rack enhances the level of the car, and it also adds a bit of sportiness. The side has a strong sense of level, and there is no sense of monotony at all. The lines at the wheel arch are cleverly used, which is quite spirited.
Classic Interior Design
The interior design concept is exactly the same as the exterior. Although there are no high-end materials, the unique texture of different materials combined together creates a good atmosphere. In addition, the official provides two interior colors for consumers to choose from.
Three-spoke Steering Wheel
The multi-function steering wheel has a sporty shape, and the grip ring is wrapped in imitation leather. It is of moderate size and feels good.
Instrument Panel
The KX1 instrument panel adopts the traditional double dial design, with driving information in the center of the dial. The overall style is quite traditional, and the displayed information is clear and easy to read.
Central Control Screen
The multimedia system is integrated into the 8-inch central control screen, including Bluetooth CarPlay, maps, voice control, USB external video playback and other functions. In addition, the screen's response speed and smoothness are very good.
Air Conditioning Vents
The air conditioning vents on both sides can be flipped over, and they still have a sense of design when closed, and the silver decorations around them are also quite colorful.
Charging Power Supply
There is only one USB and 12V power port in the whole car, which is obviously not enough to please young consumers. I hope to add more in the future.
Front Seats
The imitation leather seats are sporty and support 6-way manual adjustment. It is normal that there are no electric seats at this price.
Sunroof
KIA KX1 is only equipped with a regular-sized sunroof, and the opening and lighting area are consistent, both of which are 0.21㎡.
Rear Space
The rear space is pretty good in its class, and is basically enough for the target group, which is mainly young people.
Rear Seats
Although the bulge in the middle of the rear floor is small, the lateral space of the car body is relatively cramped, and there is no headrest in the middle seat, so it is not recommended to sit in the middle seat.
Trunk
The trunk is not very large in absolute terms, the rear wheel arches occupy the space on both sides, and there is a certain height difference at the floor after the second row of seats are folded down. The platform is not completely flat, and there is a height difference of about 25cm from the floor to the opening, which is slightly higher than other competing products of the same level.
Product Background
KIA KX1 is a new entry-level small SUV launched by Dongfeng Yueda Kia. It is on the same platform as Beijing Hyundai's ENCINO and is positioned slightly lower than KX3. Its overseas version is called Stonic.
Driving Comfort
