Appearance Design
This appearance has been maturely used by the Hongqi brand. Models such as HS5 and H5 are using this design. The iconic and similar family-style design can give each brand its own personality. Hongqi HS7 is equipped with automatic headlights and steering auxiliary lights, and the headlights also use LED light sources.
The Side Of The Car Body
The side of the car body looks slender, and the use of a lot of straight lines also makes the side of the car body look stable. The size has not changed, the length, width and height are 4995/1960/1760mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2920mm.
Tail Design
The tail design is simple and capable, calm and stable, and the through-type taillight design is also very eye-catching, which has the appearance of a luxury medium and large SUV.
Luxurious Interior
The interior of Hongqi HS7 adopts straight lines as a whole. The piano lacquer trim in front of the passenger seat and the matte trim make it look dignified and elegant. The diamond stitching on the door panels and seats, the suede material on the roof and other details are enough to highlight the overall luxury.
Three-spoke Steering Wheel
The Hongqi HS7 steering wheel adopts a three-spoke design, with leather wrapping on both sides and a perforated design, which feels comfortable. Function buttons are arranged on the left and right sides, which is suitable for blind operation.
LCD Instrument Screen
The instrument panel has also been changed to a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument screen with a simple interface design and clear display.
Central Control Screen
All models are equipped with a 12.6-inch touch LCD central control screen as standard. The screen is integrated with the instrument panel, and the 360-degree panoramic image is displayed clearly. The air-conditioning outlets are arranged on the left and right sides of the upper part, and the layout is compact.
Front Row Charging
There are two wireless charging stations below the central control screen, equipped with three charging methods: USB, Type-C, and 12V power supply.
Compact Interior
From the passenger seat, the dashboard has rich design, soft and hard, wood grain decoration, leather wrapping, different color matching, and the overall layout is very compact.
Front Seats
10-way adjustable seats are wide and thick, with good wrapping. The material is a mix of genuine leather and imitation leather, and the white diamond stitching creates a good sense of luxury.
Second Row Seats
The second row seats support manual front and rear adjustment and backrest adjustment, which is quite comfortable. The second row seat backrest can be adjusted to a large angle, with a range of about 20°.
Panoramic Sunroof
All models are equipped with a panoramic electric sunroof as standard, which basically covers the entire roof. Even in the third row, there is no feeling of oppression. The open area accounts for half of the lighting area.
Third Row Seats
The third row seats are thin and hard, only suitable for short-distance emergencies, and not recommended for long-distance travel.
Trunk
Hongqi HS7 is equipped with an electric trunk, which has a relatively regular space. The second and third row seats can be folded down in proportion. When no one is sitting in the third row, there is still enough space for luggage.
Model Positioning
Hongqi HS7 is positioned as a medium-to-large SUV, and its design is inspired by the earlier S-CONCEPT concept car. The overall style of the vehicle is relatively stable, and the large-sized air intake grille is also more visually impactful.
Power Configuration
The thick exhaust pipe is still in line with the model positioning. In terms of power system, Hongqi HS7 is equipped with FAW's self-developed CA6GV30TD 3.0T direct injection engine, with a maximum power of 338 horsepower and a peak torque of 445 Nm. The transmission system is matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission from Aisin.
