Front Face Design
Geely Xingyue L Hi.P intentionally weakens the visual center of gravity of the grille to make the front of the car look more integrated. The position of the fog lights is the main difference between Hi.P and Hi.F in the front part of the car. The two cars are not easy to distinguish in appearance.
Body Side
Since the Hi-P model has an additional 41.2kWh battery pack, its chassis is not as flat as the fuel version and Hi·F. The battery pack under the chassis can be seen from the side.
Tail Features
The tail logo is also a place to show the identity, and the green LOGO representing Thor Power is very conspicuous.
Interior Design
The interior is consistent with the fuel version, with caramel orange leather covering the seats, center console and other areas, giving the cabin a sense of luxury.
Flat-bottom Steering Wheel
The steering wheel is basically the same as the fuel version, both adopt a three-spoke flat-bottom design, wrapped in two-tone colors, and the feel and color are very good.
Dashboard
There is no need to introduce too much about the full LCD instrument and the car system. The voice wake-up speed is very fast and the car system has rich functions. However, the dashboard will have a slight lag when switching pages. It would be better if it is smoother.
Central control screen
Like the fuel version, the Xingyue L Hi.P is also equipped with a central control and co-pilot entertainment screen integrated screen design, and both the extended-range mode and hybrid mode support SOC custom settings.
Seat Material
I have to say that the leather material of the seat feels very good and the workmanship is also relatively delicate. The front seats are well padded and comfortable.
NVH Impact
Regarding the issue of three-cylinder engines, from the experience point of view, the NVH of Xingyue L Extended Range EV
does not have a negative impact on driving. PHEV is different from traditional fuel vehicles in structure, and the working principle enables PHEV to avoid the three-cylinder engine vibration is more obvious in the total speed and low speed and low load conditions. In addition, whether the engine is used as a range extender or in parallel to drive the vehicle, the NVH performance is satisfactory.
Gear Selection
In extended range mode and pure electric mode, the 3-speed DHT Pro can provide two gear options, and only in hybrid mode can it provide three gear options.
Endurance Performance
In terms of endurance, the fuel tank capacity of Geely Xingyue L Hi.P is 60L. Under the WLTC standard, the pure electric range is 207.5km, the extended range mode is 1250km, and the hybrid mode is 1300km.
