Exterior Design
Xpeng P5 has a rounded exterior design, a full front face, and incorporates Xpeng's iconic "X" element. It is equipped with a closed center grille and a honeycomb-shaped air intake grille below.
Body Design
Xpeng P5 is positioned as a compact car with a body size of 4860/1840/1520mm. The side lines of the car are simple, equipped with hidden door handles, and the rear of the car adopts a fastback design with a drag coefficient of 0.218Cd.
Smart Cockpit
Xpeng P5's center console is designed to be simple, with soft material covering the top, through-type air-conditioning vents in the middle, leather covering the bottom, and a 15.6-inch vertical screen.
Leather Steering Wheel
Xpeng P5 Plus and Pro models are equipped with a leather steering wheel with a three-spoke design. The buttons on both sides are made of silver chrome. The left side controls the cruise control and the right side controls the car computer.
Hand-held Gear Shifting
Xpeng P5 is equipped with an electronic gear lever with a hand-held gear design. It is located behind the right side of the steering wheel and has an integrated assisted driving switch. When driving in D gear, push the gear lever down to turn on assisted driving.
Dashboard
In front of the driver is a 12.3-inch full-wave crystal dashboard, which can be switched to display music, vehicle status and navigation on the left and right sides. The lower left corner shows the battery life, and the lower right corner shows the gear position.
Central Control Screen
In the middle of the central control panel is a 15.6-inch vertical screen, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, running Xmant 0S system, equipped with 12+128G memory combination, supporting 4G network, built-in application store, and rich downloadable resources.
Wireless Charging
Except for the Zhixing version, the front row of the Xiaopeng P5 is equipped with a wireless charger located on the central control console. It adopts a hidden design and the upper cover needs to be opened when using it.
Front Seats
Xpeng P5 comes standard with imitation leather seats, 500Plus and Pro models are equipped with electric adjustment of the driver and front passenger seats and driver seat memory, and 500Pro models are equipped with ventilation and heating of the front seats.
Panoramic Large Window
Xpeng P5 comes standard with a non-openable sunroof, which is large in area, provides a wide field of vision, and is equipped with an electric sunshade.
Rear Air Outlet
The rear row is equipped with independent air conditioning outlets, but there is no independent control panel, and there is a USB power supply at the bottom.
Rear Space
Xpeng P5 has a flat rear floor, and the length of the middle seat cushion is basically the same as that of the two sides. The Zhixing version is not equipped with a rear center armrest and cup holder.
Trunk
Xpeng P5 has a trunk volume of 450L, but its rear seats cannot be folded down, so the expandability is poor.
Vehicle Performance
Xpeng P5 is equipped with a 155kW electric motor, a battery energy of 55.4kWh, a CLTC pure electric range of 500km, and a Zhixing version of 480km, with an official 0-100km/h acceleration of 7.5s.
XPILOT Assisted Driving
Xpeng P5 500Pro is equipped with XPILOT assisted driving system, which supports automatic driving on highways, and is equipped with lane change assistance, lane keeping, automatic lane change assistance, etc. It also supports automatic parking, remote parking and remote summoning.
