LEAPMOTOR C01

The new LEAPMOTOR C01 currently on sale is available in pure electric and extended-range versions. The pure electric version has a suggested retail price range of RMB 139,800 to RMB 158,800; the extended-range version has a suggested retail price range of RMB 136,800 to RMB 155,800. This price can be said to be very generous.

The pure electric version is also equipped with a rear motor with a maximum power of 200kW and a peak torque of 360N·m. The battery pack capacity is available in two options: 62.8kWh and 78.5kWh. The corresponding CLTC operating range is 525km and 625km respectively, and the 0-100 acceleration time is 7.7 s and 7.5 s respectively.

The extended-range model is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L naturally aspirated range extender and an electric motor. The range extender has a maximum power of 95 horsepower, the electric motor has a maximum power of 200kW, and the peak torque is 360N·m; the battery pack has two optional capacities of 30.1kWh and 43.7kWh, and the corresponding CLTC pure electric range is 216km and 316km respectively, and the zero-to-hundred acceleration time is 7.6s and 7.8s respectively.

LEAPMOTOR C01 also has a family-style interior design. The center console adopts a symmetrical design, with a double-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, a 14.6-inch center console screen, a 10.25-inch co-pilot entertainment screen and an electronic hand-shift gearshift. The overall look is quite technological; the soft materials used in the interior are also quite rich, highlighting the sense of class.
