Product Highlights
The new Elantra is the seventh-generation model of this series, giving it a completely new look. The new car adopts the "sensual movement" design concept and is relatively bold and radical in design, which has always been a characteristic of Korean brands.
Engine
Elantra uses two engines, 1.5L and 1.4T. The 1.4T is a high-power version with a maximum power of 140 horsepower/6000rpm and a maximum torque of 211 N·m/1400-3700rpm. The maximum power of the 1.5L model is 115 horsepower/6300rpm. The maximum torque is 143.9 N·m/4500rpm.
Personalized Look
The appearance of the Hyundai Elantra is very young. The gem-cut front grille on the front is full of personality; the roof has been treated with two colors, and the rear of the car has a fastback design, all of which are youthful elements.
Rich Interior
Entering the car, the surprises continue. The new interior layout makes the sense of hierarchy extremely prominent. The rich styling details and the simplified control panel are not cluttered.
Functional Steering Wheel
The steering wheel has a unique style and a very good grip. It even offers heating on mid-range models. The flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel is made of plastic, and the second-lowest model and above will be equipped with a leather steering wheel that feels better.
Combination Switch
The small details on the combination switch, piano paint + diamond pattern, greatly improve the texture.
Instrument Screen
The Elantra 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel is only available in top-end models. It has three display styles and has a sufficient sense of technology. However, the richness of information is not substantially improved compared to lower-end models.
Central Control Screen
The multimedia is also a 10.25-inch screen, with Internet of Vehicles, online music, online maps, etc. It is rich in functions and the user experience is at the top level of the same level.
Front Power Supply
The front row provides two USB ports and 12V power supply. Except for the two lowest models, all series provide wireless charging functions for mobile phones.
Gear Shift Knob
The Hyundai Elantra 1.5L displacement uses a CVT, while the 1.4T displacement uses a 7-speed dry dual clutch.
Rear Air Outlet
The air outlets in the rear row are only available in top-end models. It can be said that the new Elantra does not do as well as the previous generation in terms of caring for rear passengers.
Front Seats
The front seats support heating function, the support force is relatively uniform, and it is not easy to get tired after long-term driving. The main driver is electrically adjusted.
Rear Seats
The rear seat cushions are relatively wide, the backrest angle is moderate, and the comfort is no problem.
Standard Sunroof
The lowest trim model cannot provide a sunroof, while the next lowest trim model is standard. The size of the skylight is not large, it is a very conventional ordinary skylight.
The Trunk
The two top-of-the-line models, Hyundai Elantra CVT 1.5L and 1.4T, support rear seats that can be folded down in a 4/6 ratio. The trunk opening height is not low, but the space performance of 474L is not bad.
Characteristic Front Face
The front end of the Elantra is quite sharp, and it is no longer the gentle look of the old model that I remember.
Vehicle Side Lines
The side lines of the car are stretched and smooth, the length of the car is close to 4.7 meters, and the wheelbase is 2.72 meters. It certainly does not look small visually, and even has the grand style of a mid-sized car.
Hyundai Elantra Rear Design
The rear of the car is thicker than the front and has a stronger sense of cutting. The 1.4T model also has a black "duck tail" on the trunk lid. The exhaust also adopts a single-side and double-outlet layout.
Comfortable Driving Experience
Despite its very dynamic appearance, the Elantra is still a calm family car at its core. It is very easy to drive and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable even when driving it for the first time.
