The Mercedes-Benz EQB steering wheel is very well designed, with moderate size and thickness, and dotted textures at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions to increase damping. Benz EQB is equipped with a 10.25-inch touch LCD screen and standard driving assistance images. The customized version of AutoNavi Navigation supports real-time crossing guidance, which is more intuitive than traditional navigation.

In terms of configuration, even though we tested a high-end model, it only had a single-zone air conditioning. The passenger seat and the back two rows could not adjust the temperature of their respective areas separately, and there was not even an air conditioning vent in the third row, which was not right.

The central control screen supports touch control, and the steering wheel and voice assistant can also control some functions, which makes the MUBX human-computer interaction device that occupies a large space on the central control platform seem a bit redundant. It might be better if it could be removed in exchange for a storage space and the cost savings were reflected in the selling price.

A 178cm tall tester sat in the front row, with the seat adjusted to the lowest position and the front and rear positions adjusted to the appropriate position. At this time, there was only a fist and a finger left on the head, and the performance was fine. In addition, the front seats of the car are quite well configured, with 14-way electric adjustment, seat heating, and headrests that support four-way adjustment.

The leather material of the Benz EQB feels average, dry and hard to the touch, and not luxurious enough. When the second row seats are adjusted to the front position and the backrest angle is adjusted to the straightest position, there is only two fingers of space for the head and almost no space for the legs.

To enter the third row, we need to pull the handle on the second row backrest, and a narrow gap between the seat and the door frame is provided for people to get in. When it comes to the third row, the cushions and backrest padding are thin, and the height of 23cm from the ground is not suitable for long-term sitting. In terms of space, when the second row seats are at the rearmost position, there is no extra space for the head and legs.

The space flexibility of the Mercedes-Benz EQB also continues the excellent design of the GLB. The second and third rows of seats can be folded down in proportion, and after folding down, a relatively flat space can be formed, which is convenient for storing and building objects.

However, when all three rows of seats are used, the trunk space is very tight, and even a 20-inch suitcase cannot be accommodated. Only a slightly smaller backpack can fit.
